OT Cybersecurity Risks of Leased Data Centers

Operational Technology (OT) cybersecurity may not be the first thing that comes to mind when thinking about data centers. However, when systems such as energy management systems (EMS) and building management systems (BMS) rely on controllers and sensors to keep the data centers running at peak efficiency, they are at increased risk to cyber attacks targeting industrial control systems.

In this whitepaper, we report to common vulnerabilities of leased data centers (LDCs) and assessment strategies to better safeguard your assets and ensure uninterrupted business operations. Dragos conducted a series of assessments to evaluate the overall cybersecurity risks of the industrial control systems environment for several LDCs, using the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) as a foundation for a series of benchmarking assessments.
